As tacky and disgusting as this all is
I wish we could say tearing down the East Wing was the worst thing the felon did.
I wish we could say tearing up the Rose Garden and having this nonsense on the White House lawn was the worst thing the felon did.
I wish we could say the felon being on currency, the reflection pool and the Kennedy Center debacle were the worst things the felon ever did.
What are the worst things? COVID response, J6, a stacked, corrupt, politicized court, getting away with absolutely anything and everything, subverting every rule possible, ripping healthcare away from tens of millions while never-ending grifting persists, just snapping those tiny fingers and cultists will gleefully vote incumbents out, exposing the America I thought I knew no longer existing, the deaths of Renee and Alex, the deaths of women from abortion bans, culture wars, dead Iranian schoolgirls, dead American soldiers, Project 2025, state media and destroying America’s standing on the world’s stage. I’ve probably forgotten stuff.
As pleased as I was to see the rightful name of the Kennedy Center restored, I’d be more pleased to see more FDR and LBJ, an expanded, liberal majority of the court, actual gun control, a reversal of Dobbs, a reversal of the immunity ruling, a good government that works for people, an end to the senseless gun violence, universal healthcare for all and a permanent left wing majority in Washington and in the courts.
