(10,721 posts)Now here we are, in 2026. The playoffs are upon us, and the Athletic recently did a survey asking NBA players how they felt about going to the White House this year.
One hundred eighteen players answered the question, which is roughly about a quarter of the league. Sixty-three of them (53.4%) said "yes," they would visit the White House if their team won a championship. Fifty-five of them (46.6%) said "no." Another 18 players were asked, but declined to answer.
Although it's just a slight majority, and only a quarter of the league answered the question, it does hint that we might see an NBA championship team head to the White House this year.
The Athletic reports that although they didn't ask players if they supported Trump or not, 32 of the 109 respondents who offered comments said they didn't. Not one player said they supported Trump.
Oh, and the Federal Government has absolutely no say in Professional Sports Leagues expansions. The can expand any time and any where they want.

No NBA Championship Team Has Visited Trump's White House EVER, But That May Change This Year

(11,165 posts)I was getting so tired of champion athletic teams degrading themselves by going to visit that piece of shit after winning a championship. Good for the Knicks telling him to shove it up his fat ass.
