Trump and the Republicans have a deal...

He will take all the blame if they give him everything he wants.

No doubt, the load must be getting heavy. But, if the war goes bad, he gets the blame. The Republicans get none, although they could have stopped it if they had wanted. So the people will not blame them. They will blame Trump.

Trump gets blamed for all the criminals and incompetents he put in charge of all the Departments of government, even though the Republicans approved all of them. Patel, Bondi. Blanche. Bessent. Hegseth. He gets the blame. They get none.

It's a nice little gig that they worked out.

Trump doesn't mind the attacks from the Democrats. He calls it the "Trump Derangement Syndrome". The Republicans just laugh.

They have let him get away with murder, literally, and have done nothing to stop it. So long as Trump gets the blame, they will campaign as if their hands are clean.

God help them if the people figure out who is really to blame?

But neither Democrats nor Republicans blame anyone but Trump when things go bad, such as the war. Such as the release of the Epstein files. Such as his appointment of corrupt people to departments of government. All approved by the Republican Party.
