When People magazine does a better job constructing a headline than other so-called "news" outlets, it sure says something out the state of journalism.

(28,149 posts)There are most likely hundreds of videos of people taking pieces of floating debris..
This arrest will go nowhere but will inconvenience and cost the guy lots of wasted time and money
Id love to see thousands of people come to the pool tomorrow, peacefully, of course, but in solidarity for this person having to go this charade
When will TSF put a fence around the pool tomorrow keep people out?
Thatll do for now..

(4,344 posts)The case -- if it continues -- will come before Jean Pirro whom Trump appointed as the US Attorney for the District of Columbia.
Judge Boxwine Pirro does not exactly have a winning record in her position. I don't know any details, but a large percentage of the cases prosecutors have brought before her have been thrown out by juries, both grand juries who refuse to indict and trial juries who refuse to convict.
This case likely will come before Judge Boxwine Pirro and will be laughed out of court by a grand jury.

(321,483 posts)what People had to say. My Zoom has to be up high so I can read it, and the video is in the way.
But I got this from ESPN:
Hearn told The Associated Press that he reached into the pool because he wanted to examine the peeling new coating. He said he briefly touched a chunk that was still attached to the side of the pool, then let go shortly after a park worker told him to.
But, Hearn said, he was then detained by National Guard troops and Park Police for five hours before being released Friday night.
"I'm a curious citizen," Hearn said in a telephone interview. "I reached down to see what it felt like. It was very rubbery."
I hope all this exposes the faulty work the PEDO's contractor did.
