Trump's odd new 'kleptomania' habit a clear sign he's suffering from dementia: expert

trump is NOT well. trump keeps stealing items. I thought that trump was just dishonest but it may be a sign of dementia

A clip of President Donald Trump slipping a pair of gold ceremonial scissors into his suit pocket at a ribbon-cutting is raising alarm
bells with at least one medical expert, who said the moment may point to something more serious than a souvenir grab.

The incident occurred Wednesday at the dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota, where Trump cut the red ribbon alongside Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. Footage that quickly spread online showed the 80-year-old president examining the blades, holding them up for the crowd, and then sliding them into his jacket.

Hilary Shae, a pathologist whose practice focuses on neurological rehabilitation, pushed back on the kleptomania jokes in a video posted Thursday night.

"It seems like Donald Trump has become a little bit of a kleptomaniac recently," Shae said. "But quite honestly, it actually looks more like a sign of dementia."

Shae connected the scissors moment to fresh reporting in Regime Change, the explosive new tell-all by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan. The book described Trump quietly claiming decor items his wife had selected for shared spaces, moving them into his own bedroom or the Oval Office while she was away.

According to the authors, staff once reminded the president that he was taking items from the Center Hall that Melania had personally chosen. He made clear he didn't care and "seemed almost to be competing with her," they wrote.

… disturbingly perverse as he aged, but he’s still acting like a toddler because no one apparently told him NO.

And the dumbing down of America has worked so well that a huge portion of the population is even dumber and is willing to cede all authority to him because he hates the people they hate. So weird. We ARE Idiocracy!

Collecting staples from old magazines.
Gathering bird feathers from the yard and storing them carefully.
Collecting and treasuring seeds from citrus fruit for 'future planting'.
Walking around with many used handkerchiefs and pieces of toilet paper for (reasons unknown).

And the biggie - putting used toilet paper on the toilet floor for 'display and inspection'.

(Observations on my 82 year old wife.)

Things I can't achieve:
- getting her into fresh clothes.
- getting her to have a shower and hair wash.

On the plus side, I am now a fully trained geriatric dementia male nurse!

Does Trump have dementia? Assuredly!
We probably don't hear about the worst of it what happens behind closed doors.

Stop telling us what is wrong with Trump!

The topic has had so much exposure, that we all know.

The question should be - what to do about it, how to lever him out of the Oval Office, how to use the 25th to move him into a Home for the Terminally Confused.

he has metamorphosed into a pathological fill-in -the-blank. He has not. He has always exhibited extreme behaviors which would qualify him as being mentally ill since he was a child. Everyone who has ever known him has stories going all the way back to the present time. Your uncle may at one time been a stable being who evolved into a dementia patient but this guy has always been sick and now with the FTD has worsened dramatically.

He has now stated openly that there is nothing that can stop him.

He is able to state his position clearly in a number of interviews with reporter.

I do not think taking the scissors is due to dementia
