Capping days of growing criticism, Alabama Sen. Richard Shelby told reporters Wednesday he will not vote for Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore.
Shelby who on Monday suggested Moore should leave the race following allegations of sexual misconduct with teenagers said he would absolutely not vote for the former Alabama chief justice in the Dec. 12 general election.

(117,734 posts)I await the results of this election with some eagerness. There wasn't any hope that this seat would be in contention when Jeff Sessions resigned to be AG so it will be a holiday present if Doug Jones does win. Maybe I'll get one of those large bins of popcorn as a Christmas gift.

Hahah. Flashback!
I'm rooting for Doug Jones. Sent $$ a few times. Esp. when triple matched. Every bit helps. It'll be monumental and superb if, no--WHEN he wins!
