(21,963 posts)I would like to know why. It just continues to show the world (and us) how deranged and unfit for the presidency he is. What are the reasons for wanting him to stop? This is an honest question.

(52,342 posts)Just like wanting Sessions to be fired. I hate him, yet if he is fired then the GOP who suddenly are supporting the derailing of all investigations, in both chambers and Mueller's, will have a green light to continue an actually accomplish their mission.
If The Moron uses Twitter is shows his mental instability and would help to speed up his demise. But, it also is used to speed up the unfettered threats to NK and this is dangerous to the US obviously.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place is where we are at right now as a country.

(4,066 posts)I appreciate your efforts. Twitter is not going to ban him, though. No how, no way. Period. They said so in their statement.
Please use your valuable time and effort on GOTV and other ways to remove him from our presence. We can do this if we focus our efforts on things we can change. We can change voter turnout. We can change the number of registered voters.
All you need to know to see this is true is to look at the efforts they make to stop voters. It is clear from AL and other elections the first thing we have to do is overwhelm them at the polls. This has clearly been one of their biggest fears since Obama got elected the first time.

(52,342 posts)in actions in several area. The midterms are crucial. Indivisible is and has been centered on this since they were founded earlier this year. I work with them among others. What I like about Indivisible is that the are very smart, focused and realistic. They have planned and organized starting at the local level just like the "tea party/freedom caucus" has. In fact, that is where they get their plan from...it is a winning strategy. Indivisible is pacing themselves and remaining serious and they know it will not be an easy or immediate "fix" and they are prepared for the long haul. Have you been to any Meet Ups or Huddles? MoveOn is doing the same thing. They have been recruiting people through nation wide conference calls and they want to know how each area in each state is working and they fine tune their approach to meet the specific needs of the various populations throughout the country. I can hook you up with both if you need the info. Since I live in a blue city and state we are putting our efforts into GOTV in the red areas. I used to work part time doing phone surveys and have experience in that realm so I make phone calls. When I did it 30 years ago there were few answering machines screening calls and there weren't any cell phone so it is quite different now.
