No 'price tag' for mass deportations, says incoming border czar

Source: Yahoo News!/The Hill

Thu, December 26, 2024 at 4:49 PM EST

(NewsNation) — Incoming Trump administration border czar Tom Homan tells NewsNation’s Ali Bradley there is no “price tag” for the mass deportations planned by the incoming administration, citing “national security” concerns.

“What price do you put on national security? I don’t think it has a price tag,” Homan said. “What price do you put on the thousands of American moms and dads who buried their children? You want to talk about family separation; they buried their children because their children were murdered by illegal aliens that weren’t supposed to be here. I don’t put a price on that. I don’t put a price on national security. I don’t put a price on American lives.”

Homan further defended the mass deportations’ $86 billion price tag, saying it would save American taxpayers money in the future.“This operation would be expensive,” he acknowledged. “However, it’s going to save taxpayers a lot of money in the long run. Right now, we’re spending billions of dollars on free airline tickets, free hotel rooms, free medical care, free meals, the education system.”

Homan, however, said they will also need help from Congress. “We need more resources; we need funding. We obviously need to buy more detention beds because everybody we arrest, we have to detain to work on those removal efforts and get travel documents, get flight arrangements. So we need more detention beds,” said Homan.

Makes me deeply fearful for our county! So very sad we are here in the middle of this cruel chaos!

The truth is not important to media organizations that only care about profits and being in with the in crowd.

Double poison to this accusation.

1.) Cultivates the idea of immigrants as criminal

2.) Efforts to debunk prompt defenders to repeat the accusation which provides raw material for further attacks.

The most effective way to counter this sort of tactic is to ensure a negative expected result.

Any ideas?

Only responses off the table are: violence, lying or causing suffering for our allies.

You know, don't be a Trump.

Have tens of thousands report to each concentration camp every day. Overwhelmed facilities will start causing civil rights violations just like in 1939-44.

Have Native Americans arrest thousands of whites.

Take every executive order and follow it to the letter, to hell with the spirit, which was malevolent to begin with, and show the ignorant masses that incompetence is very harmful.

Easy to keep H1B's in order by just threatening to cancel their contract and deport them if they do not "toe the line" as they usually have no loyalty to the U.S. just to their people back home.

The crime rate among illegal immigrants is lower than the crime rate of American citizens.

https://www.reuters.com/fact-check/no-evidence-4000-people-are-killed-yearly-by-undocumented-immigrants-2024-09-27/

That money would be better spent funding law enforcement in general, so we could actually reduce the staggering cost of crime across the United States.

https://news.vanderbilt.edu/2021/02/05/new-research-examines-the-cost-of-crime-in-the-u-s-estimated-to-be-2-6-trillion-in-a-single-year/

Tom Homan talks in billions, but the real impact of crime is in the trillions of dollars each year. Yeah, we need to rein in crime committed by illegal aliens, but there is a whole lot more that can be accomplished by spending that $86 billion on crime in general across America.

Already have a govt agency that does the job of ID'ing, catching illegal immigrants, and deporting them. When you stupidly do 10s of millions like tRUMP is threatening, who knows how much they'll overspend, literally $billions and $billions of dollars and probably won't get as much done as they want (tRUMP thugs). See his first term's record on deportations. Not that great and I expect that it'll be the same, and if anything, they'll be some pushback from some states that do rely on this labor.

tRUMP will screw it up anyways, no matter what he does, he screws everything up.
