WASHINGTON – Susan Page, USA TODAY's Washington Bureau chief, exclusively interviewed outgoing President Joe Biden on Sunday about his legacy, the 2024 election and more. The 55-minute interview, which will publish on Wednesday, is the only sit-down Biden is giving a print publication as he prepares to leave office on Jan. 20. Biden has kept a low public profile in recent months.

And before he decided last summer to end his reelection campaign, Biden had given fewer media interviews than any president since at least Ronald Reagan, according to an analysis from presidential scholar Martha Joynt Kumar. But he plans to deliver two major speeches before leaving office, NBC News reported Saturday. One will focus on foreign policy and the other will be his farewell address.

The president is also traveling to New Orleans on Monday to grieve with family members of victims and meet with officials on the ground following the city's New Year's Day attack. And Biden will preside over Thursday’s state funeral for former President Jimmy Carter.

Page, who has won every journalism award given specifically for coverage of the presidency, has interviewed the past 10 presidents, three of them after they had left office, and covered seven White House administrations.

to be a younger version of Andrea Mitchell, a little peppier but another of the both siders that have ruined American journalism. Seems like she did a presidential debate four years ago and she was pretty mediocre.

USA Today, free cheap motel giveaway. Sports page even sucks now.
