Trump Is Already Weighing Pardons for His Inner Circle

Source: Daily Beast

Published Dec. 14 2025 2:30PM EST

Donald Trump is reportedly planning to pardon advisers, policymakers, and others as his administration weathers piling criminal allegations.

Three Trump insiders told the outlet Zeteo that Trump has said “they had to” pardon members of his inner circle and that it’s a “good idea” to do so before he leaves office. The conversations have been sporadic, they said, but have involved the president, senior aides, and federal appointees.

It’s not clear how expansive Trump’s pardon list would be. Still, it would likely include key policy advisers such as Stephen Miller, the architect of Trump’s hardline immigration agenda, whose push to expand ICE detentions dramatically and deportations has landed the administration in court and sparked protests and riots in American cities.

Trump’s inner circle has already begun positioning a defense, the sources told Zeteo. “Biden did it,” a senior Trump appointee told the outlet.

He's pressuring them to let Netanyahu off the hook but he knows that's the one body the S.C. can't immunize him from. The U.S. isn't a signatory of the I.C.C. and we refuse to be bound to cooperate, yet. We need overwhelming numbers to change that policy. Or, maybe an executive order might work, after all the next Democratic President enjoys the same immunity. Maybe it's just wishful thinking?

The I.C.C. is one of the reasons Netanyahu and Putin must be careful of where they travel to, there are warrants out for their arrest. Dutuerte, the former Phillipine leader is currently being held and tried under the authority of the I.C.C..

Because he knew exactly what the Orange Menace was going to do to his employees, associates, and family out of spite. I guess you could say the same for trump because he knows the criminality involved in his admin will come to light.

There are no rules now.

It is time to start talking about negating ALL of Trump's pardons from his first administration through this one. His pardons are "get out of jail free" cards for his loyal criminal stooges and they are intended to let his current gaggle of crooks know that they are free to break each and every law they encounter..

Restricting a president's pardon power? Not in our Constitution? Who gives a shit.

Democrats needs to start talking NOW about Trump's abuse of pardon power and we need to start talking now about remedies to overturn every corrupt pardon he has handed down.

However, I'd think they'd probably wait until Trump has served two full years, as it would give Vance the potential to serve 10 years as president.

Not what the founders wanted or intended.

There should be a lengthy thoughtful process involved in creating pardon's, that alone would kill most if not all of Trump's

And you can't pardon crimes that you planned and executed or attempted crimes

we are being led by dime store hoods, pedo's and grifters !!!
