Mamdani heads to White House for meeting with Trump on housing

NEW YORK — New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday afternoon — their second sit-down since Mamdani’s November election win.
According to two people with knowledge of the matter, the meeting is expected to focus on housing development in New York City. Specifically, Trump and Mamdani will discuss ways the city can pave the way for more “big projects,” said one of the people, who, like the other, was granted anonymity to disclose details about the private meeting.
A second person confirmed that the main purpose of the meeting is housing, but said Trump and Mamdani are also likely to discuss immigration issues. Morris Katz, Mamdani’s top political adviser who doesn’t have a formal role in his administration, is expected to join the mayor for the meeting, the people said.
Mamdani’s return to the White House comes after POLITICO reported earlier this month that Trump grew particularly animated when the mayor brought up New York City land use reform during their first meeting in the Oval Office in November.

What just popped in my mind was all the decades that he spent hob nobbing with all the different mayors of NYC.
And apparently something made him click that this was just "another mayor of NYC" (to swindle).
During 45's young adulthood to date, he has been through Lindsey, Beame, Koch, Dinkins, Ghouliani, Bloomberg, de Blasio, Adams).
So some interesting times going on here.
