Trump explicitly threatens to take away choice from Texas GOP voters
Story by Travis Gettys 17h
"We have an easy to beat, Radical Left Opponent, [Rep. James Talarico] and we have to TOTALLY FOCUS on putting him away, quickly and decisively!" Trump posted. "Both John and Ken ran great races, but not good enough. Now, this one, must be PERFECT!"
...........Trump promised an endorsement on the condition that the loser of his unilateral choice drop out and take away the choice from GOP voters in Texas.
"My Endorsements within the Republican Party have been virtually insurmountable!" he said. "It is such an honor to realize and say that almost everyone I Endorse WINS, and wins by a lot, especially in Texas! I will be making my Endorsement soon, and will be asking the candidate that I dont Endorse to immediately DROP OUT OF THE RACE!"
"Is that fair? We must win in November!!!" Trump added. "Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP."

(1,374 posts)If Republican voters don't think they have a right to vote or choose their own representatives, it explains why they are rabid to remove the right to vote from their competition. Net result, no one has the right to vote, Trump choses who represents all districts, redrawn, if necessary, in all states in the US.

(41,149 posts)How bad is that? Well we know the answer ... it's bad!
Even if Paxton manages to beat Cornyn in the run-off primary, he's behind the 8-ball for the general election. I'm not a Texas voter, but if I were, I'd be mighty wary of Chump coming in and taking credit for either candidate at the last minute.
I will donate to Talarico's campaign very soon.
