I'm going to have to watch this later, only because I want to have time to stop and examine some of the frames. I probably know some of the folks in this film but I don't have time to watch it right now. I hung out with a bunch of glider guys in San Diego back then, hell I might even be in this somewhere.

Brought back some crusty old memories. I recognized several of the jump spots, especially Buckman Springs and Black Mountain. I even caught a glimpse of my old boyfriend who was a very close friend of Ken's. I would often ride the transport vehicle up with about four kites and the flyers, get them all set up and out in the air then I'd round up any left over dogs and equipment and take a "slow walk" back down the mountain with everybody's stuff while watching my friends fly around, bluegrass blaring from the vehicle's stereo. Ahh, the 70s.
