Charlie Hustle was Pete Rose. This was when the Pirates played a the crappy Three Rivers Stadium. It was nice when I saw Pink Floyd there on the Dark Side of the Moon tour. Hell I go back to Forbes Field in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Reds and Pirates had a rivalry then the Braves took the Red's place..

... methods were highly questionable. The only he reason his gambling wasn't totally degenerate (to me) was he never bet against the Reds. I think Marge Schott just thought he was the cat's pajamas and that was part of the problem: she and the Reds management never treated him as a problem to get under hand.
