The repair guy just left. The aquastat had gone bad so he replaced it. He was only here for 45 min. (and about $700). The house is slowly warming up. Very happy and grateful.

$100 for a service call
$250 for the part
Thankfully, the landlord is paying for it! I didn't realize how chilly it really was in here until the heat came back on and I started removing layers of clothes. It's been beautiful during the day, but dropping into the low 40's at night. The house is concrete block and in the woods, so it doesn't warm up much during the day.
