Enjoying a Russian Bear tonight.

Vodka, créme de cacao, and heavy cream. Don’t have any heavy cream, so I substituted Irish Cream instead. Yummy!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

If I could still tolerate alcohol, I'd drink that!

There was a novelty beverage my sister and I discovered at a fancy restaurant in SoCal long time ago, it was so good we got the recipe from the bar tender. You've already got half of it in the glass, all that's missing is a dash of creme de noya (sp? watermelon liqueur) and a blast of soda. Best to add some cream or 12/ & 1/2. Oh, and some creme de cacao. It was called a Gentle Persuasion, really need to think twice about a second one if you aren't drinking at home.

Have been a little heavy but the soda fixes it. Like a decadent Italian soda of sorts. Very tasty and dessert-like

peppermint schnapps, brandy, scotch, vodka, whiskey.

Sparkling waters, tea, hot chocolate.

Lemon juice, lime juice.

Champagne. Wine. Beer.

11/2 oz of brandy, 1/2 oz of lemon juice, and 1/2 oz triple sec. If you don’t have triple sec, simple syrup will do. Shake vigorously with ice and pour into a chilled cocktail glass.

Enjoy! 🍸

The expected and hoped-for tipple for Tuesday night will be champagne.

But enough of that. It ain’t over until it’s over. Get out the vote!
