"The Return" - pre-release unseen: Movie "review".

(Where coming from: ) - Not a fan/snob/gourmet/connoisseur - I like the grand, sweeping things: Lawrence of Arabia, Black Swan, Gladiator, The Favourite - get the drift? So almost fell for Conclave but am burned out on elections especially Catholic elections, will definitely go for Gladiator II, now chanced on this one called The Return / visually stunning and credible acting. No idea whether it will even be in my area. December.

*** If the scene where his dog recognizes him after ten years is included, I'll burst into tears, like what many of the tear-your-heart animal Lounge posts do. As for production values, this one looks like what somebody said in the '70s about the 3 Musketeer movies being made: "I want them to look real like the books."
