A feel-good story, because we all need them! Earlier today, I had just left my

apartment to run some errands. As I was waiting for the traffic to clear so I could cross the street, there was a young woman on the opposite side, also waiting. When the traffic cleared on her side, she came across the street, and headed toward me. She introduced herself, and then said, "When I see you out at night, I want to grab my car keys and take you home." I thanked her, then pointed over my shoulder, and said, "That is so sweet, but I live right here." We chatted for another minute, and she ended by saying if I ever needed anything, just holler, as she lives just diagonally across the street from my little compound.

Definitrely made my day.

I moved to Panama.
My broken hip is still a major issue. My walker/wheelchair has ignited a Help Tom campaign.
When I just want to easily cross the street, EVERYBODY stops traffic.
Then I cry/smile/cry/smile…Bawl at the kindness.
Found a real home.
