Just joined Bluesky. It is running so slow that it is almost non useable.

Is anybody else having trouble. I know they have millions of new subscribers. I hope their equipment can handle it.

It really seems to be super slow right now. I’m sure they’ll get it fixed. Fingers crossed.

That means that there is a stampede of people leaving Twitter. These social networks are all about critical mass. If the Bluesky people can scale up quickly and stabilize things, we would see a tipping point very soon where anybody is still hanging out at Twitter is likely a RW lunatic.

These things can change very quickly. One month, Foursquare was all the rage. 6 months later, nobody was using it at all. Likewise for Groupon and 100 other such sites. It should be one of our major objectives to bury Twitter.
