Today I came to a, not sure what to call it, a certain sense of something.

That's terribly vague but
I had a recent experience that - at least today, time will tell
now feels like it gave me what I need to die un-wracked by regret
(not that I have any plans to die.)
It's an encouraging and liberating feeling.

My life has often lead me to wonder if I was cursed by the gods,
much taken from me before I ever had a say in anything,
many unmet hopes and aspirations,
many painful memories.

But this new memory, at least for today, makes up for it all

It's good day to get up and make the bed, open the curtains, have your favorite morning beverage, take care of the pets, get dressed…..

I have always been an optimist no matter how hard the trauma. I always try to find the good and uplifting.
