I can solve simple substitution ciphers, like cryptograms and codes where the key is a book. Once in awhile have encoded something for fun. I made a treasure map for the kids when they were younger and added a code for them to solve to find the treasure. Everyone had a lot of fun

I solved the header. I copy and pasted the entire message, but it didn't decode into something I can read. I'll try again, one line at a time.

Creating ciphers isn't something I do all the time. I noticed something around the house and wondered if I could make a usable secret code. I set it up yesterday and got a pretty good result. For my first try

It was just a quick reply I encoded for fun. Maybe you copied some spaces or extra characters? Base64 blows up if you break the format. Try copying this, it should work, I just tested it...

I enjoy a challenge, even if it's just making a website work for me lol
The first home computer we got was a Commodore 64. We'd get computer codes and type in codes to create a game, and did a lot of debugging too. One of our kids pursued a career in computer science, maybe thanks to the time spent typing those codes

Thanks to you, I learned about Caesar's shift code, and saw several other cipher's that will be fun to learn about.
