Very vivid. I wish the leaves were still on the trees here!

Some years, I take a drive through the Catskills to view the leaves. I think that's the best part of NYS to view them.

And peaceful.

Overnight we received our first snow event leaving about 4" on everything. I like when there's no wind so that every twig on every shrub and tree has it's own personal pile of snow perfectly resting on it. More coming down now, no wind, nice change.

But later will be another wind storm, like we've had for three days, and all that snow will end up in South Dakota by the end of the first day.
