Maybe I should start art again

There are affordable classes at a close museum. Maybe I can go back to creating art, like I used to do when there was some joy in my life. Maybe it will help me feel better.

I know there are talented artists here on DU. Maybe it will help my mental health. Trying to make things better, as much as I can.

I went to Art HS, and Art College. Did some graphic design, and some illustration, along w a lot of paste ups & mechanicals pre-computers.

I've always drawn for myself, but for the past ?nearly 3 yrs have been using a wonderful digital art app instead on my phone. I'd be even better if I had a stylus, and not my finger. 😄

I need to get more fine line markers for the new drawing pad I did buy.

Also getting back to acrylic painting. I need a couple of more colors, though I can do certain things w what I have.

I also do easy knitting and crochetting, barely an intermediate, but I enjoy my finished pieces.

I definitely encourage you to return to it!
Even maybe try a new medium, after you've done something familiar.
