Curious......how many of you here in the lounge have almost quit the general discussion area???

Me. I have damn near killed myself reading the posts now in General Discussion…….i have to get out of there…..the Lounge is now gonna be it for me…….and I hope you don’t mind. ☘️

I don't often click on things to read the whole story. So many of the headlines feel like bizarro world to me and I'm not as engaged as many. Besides, I literally have so many issues in my own life I can just put one foot in front of the other right now I can't focus on the world out there...

I'm not trying to bury my head in the sand, but I'm literally treading water over here so the rest of the world can fuck off for a little while

But, you should stick to where it feels best. No need to add extra anxiety.

All of the posts from each forum are in Latest. That way I can pick an choose what interests me.

12. No don't really do "General Discussions" anymore. Don't know. it's just so filled with stuff.

Have to plow through so much. Everyone is posting their favorite podcasters / video. So many pages.
Not on all day. Check in the morning and then late afternoon. Sometimes 4-5 pages of current posts. Just can't spend the time. Even just weeding through them to find ones of interest takes a lot of time.

Will do Lounge and Breaking news and a few non-news forums. "Pets" is really my favorite.
Try to limit my time to an hour.

What's this "Latest Discussions" mention several times here?

foreseeable future. I don't know what the hell is going on and I don't want to. First time in my adult life and I was a political science major in college. This country is so fucked up I actually bought a lottery ticket on the almost non-existent chance of getting the hell out of the US.

My time might well be better spent in a number of the groups I subscribe to. Places where I can get information that would actually be of use. The Lounge too would be a source of entertainment.

Was a 1 to 1 ratio. Now it's more like 2. FYI also smoking more cannabis. It helps and makes the lounge more fun.
