actually i've been at that age for a few years now but i'm a slow learner apparently (or i think i can do it or handle it *this* time)
(i usually can't)

live and learn, then live and learn again.

Now, however, my body lets me know the next day what things I should anticipate convalescence for a couple of days after I do them again.

I'm about to go out and split firewood again, unless I change my mind and bag leaves. Either one will make me hurt tomorrow.
