1. When you say "move"

Are you referring to different addresses with the same locale. Or changing locations entirely?

Too many to count (upwards of 50), if just moving from one address to another …

How many times have you changed residence / moved in your life? > 45 times, including deployments overseas. Really. And, my wife has me beat during my deployment, 'cause she had to move four times!

8. I've moved about 9 times

starting at age 17

I listen to oldies or classic rock.

If I'm feeling depressed or feelings like that, I listen to sad songs. My husband burned a CD for me years ago, everything from Mellencamp's 'Human Wheels' to Walter Brennan's 'Old Rivers' I let the cd play out and usually feel much better after I hear the songs on it. I also listen to TSO's Beethoven's Last Night to be lifted.

9. I lived in nearly 30 places over the years.

Much of it in rentals in Silicon Valley, then eight homes in Lake County, three of which I owned. I now live in hopefully my last address in Grass Valley. I lived in three homes for ten years each.

11. Many Moves

First off, the moves I made weren't from one address to another in the same area.
Second, my father was in the Navy so we moved often before he retired and I served in the AF for 28 years so I had even more moves than my father.

Before age 18: 7 moves all within the U.S.
After age 18: 13 moves with 8 being in the U.S. and four being in two different locations in Germany and England each. Also included is a four month deployment to Zagreb, Croatia in 1996.

What do I listen to when feeling...
Early Beatles songs. There's just a good feeling to their early songs that gets to me.

Moved 7 times. Always same region, so some moves were only a few miles.
Majority were well AFTER 18. (5 of 7)
I don't get angry very often, lonely even less.
Anxious & others: I probably would play guitar or piano and my tempo would indicate excitement or relatedness

If listening, I listen to a lot of the same stuff. If I'm really up, probably something rocking hard. A bit more mellow, something like Talking Heads, or The Fixx, or other 80s stuff that feature keys AND guitar.
