She cared for the elderly that were sick


One of my best friends had to travel over 700 miles on short notice. His little sister is a nurse. She has had Covid a couple of times. This last time it damaged her heart and lungs. Open-heart surgery is Wednesday. My friend is not religious. But sending him positive thoughts would be appreciated.

I bet she believes she was called to do this service for humanity, and she responded, "Here I am, send me," just like Isaiah. She should be revered as much as any saint or prophet.

Sometimes it's almost easy to forget about COVID. At least in my reclusive retired life.
It is a very destructive disease, why is that so hard to accept?
