Rainy day movies. 🎥 Saw two today we thought were good.

Back In Action - funny and action packed
Netflix 2025
Cameron Diaz - first movie in over a decade
Jamie Foxx - looks like he’s back from his health issues
Another well known star who comes into the movie much later.
Married spies, thought dead, are forced back into action from their regular suburban life.
This must’ve been a stunt coordinators dream. Great stunts. Lots of fights

Saturday Night
Available on lots of platforms 2024
The chaotic 2 hours before the first SNL episode October 11, 1975. Much of it is true from what I’ve read but they also blend in bits that would make it onto the show in the first maybe second seasons.
Willem Defoe plays the NBC Exec who almost, but doesn’t, bail to a rerun of Carson.
Mathew Rhys plays George Carlin.
Nicholas Braun (Succession) plays Andy Kaufman and Jim Henson.
I’ve seen a couple of the rest of the cast in other stuff but they really nailed the impersonations of Chevy, Belushi, Aykroyd, Garrett, Gilda, everyone.
