1. Jane Curtain and Larraine Newman holding up a photo of Gilda Radner at the end, so she could be at this event. Their faces were beaming.

playing Golden Slumbers live. It was nice to see the old guard there but the old characters they played pulled on my heartstrings. The characters are how we know on SNL.

I just noticed that the entire 50-season archive of SNL is available to stream on Peacock. That's nearly 1000 episodes, so those needing a break from politics or a need for some perspective from years past--might peruse those shows.
