A peaceful moment for us today

“There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature—the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after the winter." –Rachel Carson

Fern Canyon is a canyon in the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park in Humboldt County, California, western United States. The park is managed in cooperation with other nearby redwoods state parks and Redwood National Park. It is named for the ferns growing on the 50-foot (15 m) high walls, through which runs Home Creek. Thanks for posting.

For those who want to visit this wonderful park some day, but don't know where in Humbolt County it is; it's 50 miles north of Eureka and there are two campgrounds for campers to choose from, one is on Gold Bluff's Beach.
Also, be sure to Google the park before heading there to see latest info on road closures etc.
(Davison Rd. is closed due to flooding conditions at Highway 101)
