OMG, I used to drive my '86 Corvette in Minnesota winters through more snow.

I spent 3-4 winters in upstate NY driving a Geo Metro. It handled snow and freezing temps no problem.
This is embarrassing!

Keep the wheels straight until you get moving and then turn. Must be an out of towner.

State Department version should be a lot heavier. The extra weight might allow it to go in a couple inches of snow.
