I talked to John this morning. He wasn't allowed to leave the hospital if his blood pressure was at or over 150, It was

at 147, So he is going home. I think if anyone wants to donate to his Go Fund Me you can. As he needs things that are not provided by Medicaid or the hospital. I will try and find the link .If you can great, if you can't that is okay. My attempt to post the link failed . I can copy but can't paste.

He has about a month of sitting, sleeping and eating next to the TV in a recliner. I hope he heals fast!

Resting and getting a good sleep in a hospital is hard. Somebody is always coming in and fooling with something. Mattresses are not comfortable. Roomies may be having a hard time which means more traffic in and out. Sleep can be a real luxury. No sleep also aggravates pain. All of it adds up to a higher B/P. At home he can hopefully get some real rest.
First rule of night shift is never wake a patient unnecessarily. Unfortunately, it is often necessary.
