I can't write a word without tears of gratitude blinding me. Please be patient with me.
Please know my "New Heart" is pumping out gratitude with every single beat.
I am going to try to commit not just to finding miracles wherever they may be, but I feel obligated to make those of us that can't quite see the subtle ones more aware and blessed as a result.
This is a promise I so look forward to keeping, after all, you did that for me.
I love you all.

(6,937 posts)I feel the very definition of what you wrote from all of you daily.
You all have taken me from levels of despair that seemed only to mount and created a safe space for me to land with each chapter I've experienced.
You all have filled my life not just with good news, but you've reawakened the soul of my inner child.
The soul that believes all is possible, believes that there is good, and that there is a safe place for souls like ours to meet, hold hands, walk with a spring in our step.
These are all things I'd let go of many years ago so thank you again and again and again.

(10,257 posts)it takes a while to recover, the 25th of March will be a year for me and I only got my energy and stamina back a few months ago.
Take your time an don't beat yourself up as the initial recovery is a bit slow, or it was for me, six months and I felt much closer to normal.
follow the advice about lifting things, I broke a wire wrapped around my sternum and the Dr's were alarmed but my chest was xray'd and it was not a worry

I will try to write this weekend.

I am certain it made a difference just as much as all of your encouraging words did in keeping me alive up to the surgery date.
I'm filled with love and gratitude for everyone here who thought enough of me to care.
