When I "received" an Oscar

I was visiting the Warner Brothers Studio with my daughter who works there. At the time, part of their tour was a guy holding an Oscar and asking if you would like to hold it (briefly) which I thought might be a cool idea. My daughter took a picture of me holding the Oscar so I could "prove" that I had one to my friends and family back east.

I can tell you that the Oscar is heavy.

The studio no longer does that on the tour but I thought it was a fun thing to do and glad I did it. I just wish I still had that picture or I would happily post it for all of you to see. Alas, I don't...

But at the academy of the motion picture museum in LA you can hold a real one. And it is kind of heavy!
