When my daughter was young I brought home two Rex "for my daughter". ๐Ÿ˜‰

We rabbit proofed the back yard and let them roam free. They had free reign of the garden. They absolutely adore chamomile, with dandelions a close second.

When I would get home from work I would chase them around the back yard. Each night I would have to develope a new capture strategy, as any given strategy could only be used once. If I gave up to quickly they would hop up on the deck and nip at the cuffs of my pants.

The first time my daughter invited a neighbors son over he spied one and exclaimed "conejo!". Then he turned to me and said "rabbits are very crafty you know" with the biggest grin. ๐Ÿ˜

I believe "crafty" may be the best descriptive. They are social, quite smart, and absolutely love to play!

If you must pen them, build a multi level pen, give them access to lots of fresh greens, and let them out often!

I do not believe they were meant to be penned. ๐Ÿ˜Š
