During the spring concert yesterday

The church that hosted the concert has maximum seating of 500 people. I'm not sure if that's based past body size (the church is 100+ years old) or current body size, but the choir boosters had sold out the tickets, and we were packed in cheek to cheek. As I sat there enjoying the music and trying to ignore the aches, pains and numbness caused by sitting on a lovely oak pew, I wondered if church attendance would go up if churches installed reclining seats such as movie theaters have?
