Storms really getting started in St Louis update

Last edited Sat Mar 15, 2025, 07:03 AM - Edit history (2)

I'm hunkered down at my roommates moms house so we're not sitting ducks in the mobile home for the next few hours as the bullseye blows through.
Good morning DUers. Toby and I stayed with his mom Tracy through the very worst of the storms that blew through St Louis last night, with things finally settling down around 1230am CST.
It was three hours of white knuckling as the winds were howling the entire time and we had a tornado warning, a severe thunderstorm warning 45 minutes later that left us with a ping pong ball size hail storm that lasted about three minutes and scared the ever loving stuff out of us.
We will be evaluating any damage later this morning but at least the vehicle windows were spared and so was our mobile home.
My sisters BF lives just west of St Louis and his family (son) and space were also spared any visible damage. It was nice to get home and reconnect with Petunia and Cuddles who rode out the storm in my messy closet.
I pray that all of you in the way of these storms get through the difficult weather ahead. Please heed the warnings and act appropriately.
Love, John

It must have been quite the nerve-wracking experience. Glad you pups survived unharmed as well.
