So, after a huge hiatus and not really doing much with my business after I went and paid for a fucking Biz License...I'm finally re-doing my website and taking action to make it happen. But you need a website now, it's a landing page or a storefront of sorts...
I've been puttinig off the work of it and now it's down to the nitty gritty. I gotta book a place and make flyers for an event, so I need the website up and looking functional... ok fine. Got Seo words etc... got pics and design elements, just need to string the words together.
But to list myself anywhere, I need a "genre" of business. So I'm flailing... here's some basic descriptors:
First & foremost, I offer a class on the modern version of the medicine wheel/solar year...which I call "Nature's Compass."
Second, I am offering "Grils Night IN" for events like bridal showers, Bdays, etc ~ like your own personal meditation workshop brought to you at your Air BnB and fostering better relationships with self and sisters.
Third, I want to eventually do "field Trips" for your inner child to play in the woods. Set you little goblin free to get dirty and play and observe your surroundings ini a more engaged & playful way!
Last, I do card readings. I also make wands and dreamcatchers, and was even mulling a Blessed Tahoe Water in little vials. I got the jars a long time ago and finally figured out what to do with them
So what am I...??? a Facilitator? Mentor? Guide? Teacher? ...cult leader?
I'd love your input!

(3,388 posts)You are primarily a Mentor or Guide.
It appears that your primary focus is on meditation, so I would push that
and add a serious graphic of the Medicine wheel in question...
Talk about yourself and your mission.
Then list all those side option you refer to above.
Then of course you need the search engine keywords to bring traffic to your site.
this may help with that: https://www.wordstream.com/keywords
Have fun and good luck!

(14,977 posts)I actually was impressed with the breakdown, they summarized my target audience and dubbed it a "collective" because the community aspect is there fostering connections... interesting. My whole goal is to help others find their "tribe"...
But yikes, AI is that smart now?

(17,677 posts)Im starting a small business for my retirement (my son said that is an oxymoron).
It is incredibly helpful turning my word blobs into coherent content.
Lots of jobs on the line as agents come on line.

(14,977 posts)I have done the Nature's Compass classes through the Community College before, but I don't like the format and using power point etc.. I'm more of a fluid speaker, give me a whiteboard and let me babble! Also, the new place I wanna use won't be weird about sage in the room... etc. It's through the local Dispensary/community health center, so I am hoping to get some younger Gen Zers fresh vibes!
Strangely enough, I got a reccomendation to connect with someone on FB this morning, who actually is a travel agent in NY and books in Tahoe, so I am currently pitching the "Girls Night IN" idea to her!!
I'd really like to have something feasible going by next month $$$
