I could breakdown and suffer, and ‘research’ Irish Pubs for 6 months or even a few years too.

Over the course of 2008, the photographer James Fennell and I spent about three months on the road researching the best pubs in Ireland for the book ‘The Irish Pub.’ This was an arduous task, which we did just for you. We came home having photographed about 70 pubs and spoken with perhaps as many publicans. However, in order to give each pub the four to six page spreads we felt they deserved, we had to make some radical decisions in the final furlongs. We just didn’t have enough pages to fit them all in.
