Putting my living rm back

The contractors finished Monday. The screen doors were a challenge, but they look good. After they left, I was going to pick up my grandkids and my car wouldn't start. AAA tech diagnosed a bad battery (probably exactly 4 years old!) He got it started, told me not to turn it off. I begged my mechanic to fit me in and got a new battery by 4 p.m. TG, the kids got rides.
It'll be easy to remember the date of house updates and battery: St. Patrick's Day, 2025.

That was a lemon. Glad the contractors did good work though.

Hopefully you can enjoy a quiet spring in your spruced up abode, Marthe.

We got the Prius in 2012, replaced the 8 volt in 2014. Then 2018 and 2022. The hybrid battery always did fine.

We got 4 yr. 8 volt batteries for the Prius and I noticed they lasted 4 years.
I have a 2021 Nissan Rogue, just got it last Aug. I imagine it's the original battery. I don't drive every day, don't give an old battery a chance to stay charged.
With all the alerts on this car, I'm surprised a hand didn't come out of the dash and slap me when the battery needed replaced.
