I got a couple of claim forms for "found money" by email today. Both legit. Online they don't show the value,
just that there is some amount of money due you.
1st was Maine. $35.00. And I don't need to do anything. They'll be cutting a check. I felt like I' did when I won on a scratch ticket.
The 2nd from Mass, was more complicated. 2 page form to print and sign. Include copies of my SS card and a picture ID, DL/Passport.
The payout? $6.85. Yeah, I think I'll pass. The stupid thing is they don't ask if you want to gift it to the State,
