There were so many great lines;

He's just mostly dead.

Because I know something you don't know...I'm not left handed, there's something I ought to tell you, I'm not left handed either.

We could go on forever in this wonderful movie.

(Damn, they don't have the specific scene on Youtube.)

It is from one of my favorite movies, and stars three of my favorite actors... including a young Matthew Broderick in his third film.

Amazingly the trailer shows the result of the line. The bit where the soldier falls into the moat is from that scene!

From Life of Brian

MANDY: What star sign is he?
WISE MAN #2: Uh, Capricorn.
MANDY: Uhh, Capricorn, eh? What are they like?
WISE MAN #2: Ooh, but... he is the son of God, our Messiah.
WISE MAN #1: King of the Jews.
MANDY: And that's Capricorn, is it?
WISE MAN #2: Uh, no, no, no. That's just him.
MANDY: Ohh, I was going to say, 'Otherwise, there'd be a lot of them.' sniff

Keeping that in mind, the funniest line in film history is, "I'll have what she's having," from When Harry Met Sally, IMHO. But I've always liked Ali MacGraw's response to Richard Benjamin's "I'm not a planner, I'm a liver" in Goodbye, Columbus. "I'm a pancreas," she says.

Poverty is the general state of lacking sufficient resources, while penury signifies extreme, desperate poverty, an oppressive lack of money for even basic necessities like food and shelter, often implying destitution or being destitute.

There are so many, but the three I liked most are:

Jesus Quintana - “Nobody fucks with The Jesus.”

Walter Sobchack - “Nihilists! … Fuck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it’s an ethos.”

Walter Sobchak - “Hell, I can get you a toe by 3 o’clock this afternoon … with nail polish.”
