I don't remember how old I was but I had to be in my teens. Early 80's, most likely. I went to my brother's apartment and got a bit... well, stoned (on grass). He put on the first Led Zeppelin album and I sat in front of his massive speakers listening at very high volume.

It was transcendent. All rock and roll music is better loud but early Zeppelin at high volume is like entering a new consciousness. And this was an early experience for me with, um, herbal attitude enhancers, so this was indeed something.

I cannot listen to this song now without remembering how it felt back then.
