Calling the USA a democracy today is a joke. This country was founded on wealthy tax evaders. These wealthy bootleggers wrote the laws to give themselves monopolies to hand down to their children. Unregulated Capitalism does nothing more than create a monarchy disguised as something else. Truth is no one has the right to peruse happiness, unless that happiness is to be a slave peasant serf to our Kings and Queens. Capitalism can coexist with democracy only if democracy regulates it from taking over everything. Capitalism is an ambitious beast that knows no ends and will do anything to get more gain more more more more. EF! Am I the only one that sees this?

for the People's benefit.
Corporations are NOT people.
Money is NOT speech.
Money has no lace in politics.
Corporations that serve no public good should be dissolved.

Herbert Hoover, who gave us the Great Depression. I'm not counting Harry Truman who was, by his own admission, a 'failed businessman.' (His business went bankrupt.
Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Lincoln, both Roosevelts, Kennedy, Reagan - not a businessman in the group.
Point 1: running a government is not anything like runnning a business;
Point 2: running a predetory venture capital fund is also nothing like running a business.
