Found an interesting set of color charts at an estate sale on Saturday for $5.00
Did a little research Sat. night. They were from 1964
Took some pictures on Sunday.
Posted it on eBay Sunday night asking $75.
Accepted a $50 offer waiting for me when I woke up this morning.
It's paid for, packaged, and ready to ship.
I probably could have counter offered and gotten a few more bucks but I like to pay it forward on a good deal.
I love the fast flip money.

PS - For the $5 I also got a nice small stack of fancy shipping envelopes and mailers which I will use in the future.
About a dozen new fancy ones and I use them all time so that's money made now and money saved later.

(23,475 posts)We help identify, pack and move the senior to new quarters and then go back and clear out their homes. The stuff I have come across are sometimes hard for me to throw away. I actually saw a similar color chart in a home recently. One of our clients was a woman who lived in an apartment for 70 years! I found this costume jewelry that I insisted we save and try to find a buyer. We ended selling the jewelry for $3000 dollars. The lady was so pleased for the extra cash.

(34,208 posts)I dont need top dollar, just enough extra to reinvest in another item.
Last summer I bought a watch for a buck. Turned out it was a Swiss 14 K one from 1958. I looked at sold and asking prices. Ranged from $250 to $1,200. I put it on for $375 and it sold within a week. I was trilled.
Now I have a collection about 140 felt pennants of 1915 movie stars. 42 different stars. Been playing around with them and came up with 4 groups. The best being a group of 42 all different ones. Only one Fatty Arbuckle.
Still working on a plan to sell them. I did put a group of 5 in the mall and put $20 on the group and it sold with in a week.
My cost? Hard to say as it was part of an estate I bought and every thing I sell now is profit.
