(4,873 posts)But why do you make your name part of the stem? I find it distracting (and maybe a little cheesy?). Or is this picture made as a kind of commercial art, like for a greeting card? I think that would be a shame because this is a beautiful little gem of a painting.
I hope I'm not hurting your feelings--I don't often comment on posters' art, but this one really caught my eye.

(4,873 posts)I have an artist friend who send me a birthday card which was a painting of a birthday cake with my name on it! It's framed and hangs proudly in the hall.
