(5,094 posts)I can describe it. It's me about 30 years ago sitting on the beach with my black lab Charlie off his leash laying down at the waters edge. This was in late fall or early winter with the grayish blue sky mixed with calbolt blue, with movement kinda like its racing by. Charlie's favorite thing to do was go for a walk down to Lake Michigan and go for a swim ( he didn't care how cold it was. One year he even did the Polar Plunge with my husband and his buddies)
Every few years I'd do a self portrait in a style of a school of art. This one was in the style of the Renaissance. My hair was in black and browns and blues with some reds, long, parted in the middle. I was dressed in burnt orange sweater and long wool skirt with shadows of olive greens and blues.
The water was in blues and whites, kinda rolled in rough waves, with some yellows and pink in it. The beach was tans and oranges, browns and olive greens in an organic manner kinda mimicking undulating waves. Like winter sand looks kinda piled up and damp.
Sorry I can't figure out how else to post it. Maybe while EarlG is doing maintenance he will figure out how we can post from bluesky like we did from twitter.
