GERMS portrait of Timothy Leary...

Last edited Mon Jun 29, 2026, 02:29 AM - Edit history (1)

I commissioned this piece.

I met Leary several times in 1978 while working on Timothy Leary NEUROCOMICS, along with Pete Von Sholly and George DiCaprio.

We visited Tim at his home in Los Angeles at that time, and Dr. Leary offered us Olympia beers in cans.

So I (we) drank beer with Timothy Leary.

Acrylic on wood panel with vintage frame.

Image area: 24" width x 20" height

Framed size: 30.5" width x 26.5" height

On edit: Copyright 2026 Jaime "GERMS" Zacarias.
GERMS is in the permanent collection of the The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture.
