Help me, fellow Duers. You are my only hope. A few years ago, I saw a video of a young Oriental man

playing a piano solo. It was called "Autumn ______."

It was NOT "Autumn Leaves."

Can anyone identify this?

And the word Asian is much more polite to use.

You should say "Asian".

I'm hoping everyone was answering you at the same time and didn't mean to "over educate" you. Don't let that keep you from asking questions anyway. And, I hope that was your pianist.

7. Was the pianist young, or middle aged, or older? Was the music Asian-sounding, or European classical or new wave-ish?

It appears there are many male Asian pianists possible on YouTube, getting a more narrow definition of the act would make it easier to find.

Did it seem to sound more classical, or modern western modern or new wave contemporary ?

Do you recall if the pianist was old or young? Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.,?

There are so many Asian pianists in the last several decades, all excellent.

Interesting older Japanese music:

8. I've struggled with the idea, myself, of "Asian" and "Oriental" since "Asia" covers such a vast area, so many cultures!

Absolutely overwhelming!

"Lotsa lunck: to us, right?

On edit:

Why, you can even see Asia from Sarah Palin's house, she says!
