I listened to a recording by the North German Symphony Orchestra that I thought was completely sublime. As time passed and I no longer had a turntable - my husband (may his memory be eternal) never forgave me for getting rid of his vinyl - I went online and found a recording of this performance and, on impulse, ordered it. Alas, I still haven’t listened to it due to not investing in a new turntable.
